This place is absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings and the warm welcome from the hosts. The cottage is a jaw-dropping conversion with unique touches, like the old feeding troughs in the living room. The wood-burner in the well-equipped kitchen and the impressive fireplace in the spacious bathroom add to the cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms are spacious and the cotton bed linen feels super luxurious. We loved the huge collection of books and maps, as well as having Netflix available. The location is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, and fishing, and there's even an adventure playground nearby. The cottage is pet-friendly, so our dog had a great time too. All in all, this was a truly unforgettable stay and we can't wait to come back for a longer visit.

We couldn't have asked for better value for our money. The room at Stable Cottage was amazing, with its beautiful decor, comfortable beds, and luxurious bed linen. The location was perfect for us, surrounded by fine countryside and with plenty of walking trails right at our doorstep.
Food for breakfast could have been better, maybe with a bit more variety.

Lovely remote location with plenty of outdoor activities. Helpful staff, free WiFi, and private parking. The holiday home had a washing machine, kitchen, and dishwasher. Inverness Railway Station and Dornoch were not too far away. Towels were provided and there was a cozy seating area.
Oh, I just adored the dull knives and lack of a dishwasher. So rustic!

Lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere, perfect for pretending to be an outdoorsy person. Staff never sleep apparently, always ready to help. Oh, and they even have WiFi and a dishwasher! Can you believe it?
Had so much fun doing my own laundry and drying myself with the available towels. Such a hassle.
